Hello there, my name is Tracey, and I am the owner of The Emporium based in Prudhoe.
How does The Emporium work?
The Emporium is owned and ran by me with the help of family when needed. Offering space via shelf rental allows me to accommodate a large variety of Artists, Artisans and Crafters who fill the shop with their wonderful selection of different Gifts, Cards, Jewellery and Crafts. This makes The Emporium a rather unique place to shop offering customers many items that are not usually found in your usual high street gift shop. I also offer space for Craft workshops, if you are a Crafter who would like to teach that is also possible.
The minimum term for rental is 3 months. You can then end your rental by giving 2 weeks notice before the end of your term or auto renew.
The rental you pay for includes a manned space within The Emporium and all of the background expenses that you don’t see when owing and running a bricks and mortar shop.
Whilst it is disappointing if your crafts do not sell as quickly as you would have hoped you have still received the service signed up for and your rental is still due for the whole of the term booked.
Joining.
In joining you simply bring or post your stock, all priced and labelled with your name and contact details, we will then photograph and introduce you on social media.
How do I get paid?
We aim to pay out when all the all the hard work during the month is complete and sales cleared.
When is my rent due?
Your rent is due monthly on or before the 25th of each month. If your rent is not received, we will issue a reminder, if rent is not received by the payment date we will deduct from your sales or hold sales if there is not enough to do so.
What are the spaces priced at?
We have tried very hard to accommodate a budget for everyone, our prices begin at £15.00 a month a month this being a small cube all prices exclude Izettle Fees. Any direct orders from your space come in at 10% commission all Events or After Hour Sales also come in at 10%.
Booking/Holding Fee.
There is a booking fee of £12.50 to confirm your rental request or hold a space if it into yet available, this fee will be deducted from your first months rental.
Where is Prudhoe:-
Prudhoe is a town in south Northumberland England about 11 miles west of the city of Newcastle upon Tyne and just south of the River Tyne. Situated on a steep north facing hill in the Tyne Valley of Prudhoe, we also have a 12th Century Castle, a landmark badger, and a beautiful riverside country park all just a 5-to-10 minute walk from the shop.
